The De Valence Pavilion, Tenby, plays host to Swansea based Fluellen Theatre Company in their production of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare on Thursday, April 28, at 1.15 pm and 7.30 pm. A timeless classic and Shakespear's most popular play, A Midsummer Night's Dream has delighted audiences for generations. It is the hilarious story of love gone mad one summer's day and of star crossed lovers, with the high comedy of the artisan amateur actors who cast, rehearse and perform their play 'The Lamentable Comedy of Pyramus and Thisbe'. So go along and follow the misadventures of two pairs of lovers who fall in and out of love, laugh at the devious comedy of Oberon and Titania, and swoon at the greatest dramatic poetry ever written. Swansea-based Fluellen Theatre Company present an exciting and fast moving 'theatre in the round' production, featuring award-winning actress Claire Novelli at Titania, the ever-popular George Andrews lending his considerable bulk to the role of Bottom and Rhodri Wyn Miles (Gareth Harries in SC4's Pobl Y Cwm) as Demetrius.
