Tenby town councillors have giving their backing to an amended application for the replacement of an existing flat roof with a pitched roof at the Fecci's building on Celtic Corner, Upper Frog Street. Councillors had previously recommended refusal of the application due to visibility issues concerning the height of the roof over the town walls. However, on Tuesday, after viewing amended drawings for the proposal - which show that the ridge height of the roof has been reduced by 0.5 metres and that the eaves are now below the height of the adjacent town walls - councillors recommended approval of the application to the Pembrokeshire National Park Authority.
