Members of the Vineyard Vale Community Group were delighted to be able to officially open a new sports and play park last Saturday.

The Vineyard Vale Community Park is split into two parts - one as a ball court, while the second half comprises of playground equipment and is designed to be enjoyed by youngsters from the age of three up.

Local MP Nick Ainger was on hand to officially open the park, which has been four years in the making. "We'd like to say a big thanks to the whole of the community group and also Pembrokeshire Housing Association, without whom the project would not have gone ahead," said Vineyard Vale Community Group chairman, Colin Andrews.
