A bid to build an extension to Tenby's Masonic Hall was given the thumbs down by National Park planners this week.
The application sought to replace a single storey flat roofed extension to the rear of the masonic hall in South Parade with a new two-storey extension covering the same area.
However, development control officer Mrs. Cathy Milner informed the committee that the size of the proposed development was "over-development of the site" and would have a "severely detrimental impact on the amenity of the adjacent properties."
"It would be extremely overpowering to neighbouring properties and block out their light," she commented.
