AT the last meeting of Tenby Town Council, the Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Julie Evans, presented Victoria Walters, of the Pembrokeshire Special Needs Gymnastics Club, with a certificate of achievement in the sport of gymnastics after winning three medals at the special Euro Olympics in Luxembourg.

This was an outstanding achievement, as Victoria was one of 110 gymnasts from 17 countries to compete in the Olympics.

The event is a high level European competition and not only requires a lot of dedication and practice, but also a great deal of courage to stand in front of so many people and perform to such a high standard.

Victoria not only won a bronze in the vault and a bronze in the beam, but also a gold in the floor exercise.
