Three men have been arrested by police investigating a serious assault on a 26-year-old local man.

Ben Hunter was left fighting for his life following the assault which occurred in Tenby's St. George's Street at the crossroads with Upper and Lower Frog Streets on Saturday, September 10, at 1.15 am.

On Monday, police officers investigating the attack issued CCTV pictures of three men that they wanted to speak to in connection with the assault.

On Wednesday, officers revealed that three arrests had been made.

Mr. Hunter is still a patient at the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff, where his condition is described as 'very poorly.'

Officers would still like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the attack and they are asked to contact police on 101.
