Sir,
As a yoga teacher in Pembrokeshire since 1973, I have now stopped teaching, and would like to thank publicly the committee of the New Hedges Village Hall for hosing an afternoon tea party for me on October 10, to which were invited past and present yoga students. It was very much appreciated.
I would also like to say a heartfelt 'thank you' for all the cards, letters, gifts and hugs, with goodwill messages from so many lovely people who have attended regularly in my classes and have been so supportive over the years - especially those stalwarts from 1973 to the Millennium! I shall miss seeing all the students so much!
What is most important, though, is that yoga is continuing thanks to a local teacher, Michelle Downes, who has kindly, and ably, taken over the classes, and happily yoga will continue to thrive for a long time to come.
It has been such a privilege for me to have served as a teacher, and every moment has been a real pleasure.
Eileen Williams,
New Hedges.
