ON Monday, October 24, members of the Tenby Project hopped on to the public bus to go down to Pembroke Dock to visit the Heritage Museum. It was an enjoyable and fascinating day, with everyone having a go at the flying boat simulation landing in the water in front of Pembroke Dock, having their photo taken in front of a life-size model of Darth Vader, and enjoying the cake and biscuits on offer in the café.
After a quick lunch eaten in the Pembroke Dock Community Learning Centre – thank you! – and another tour of South Pembrokeshire on the bus home, the day finished with a quick game of kurling and badminton in Augustus Place Hall.
This week, Monday, October 31, there will be a coffee morning as usual in Augustus Place Community Hall and in the afternoon the group are going up to the museum. Everyone is invited to the coffee morning, especially if you have learning difficulties and would like to help to run it, but also just to come along for coffee and a chat with your friends (or to meet new friends!). Everyone is also welcome to join the museum visit. Just come along or get in touch with Anne on [email protected] or 844002 for more details.
