Tenby’s De Valence Pavilion has a programme of events planned for the summer, despite work to carry out alterations to the interior of the building being carried out.
Deputy Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown told her fellow councillors at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council that alteration work was still taking place, but that it wouldn’t effect activities and events taking place at the venue.
“Weekly markets in the foyer area are taking place throughout the summer, every Wednesday from 10 am to 4 pm, and the Films4Tenby group are also planning on screening more films, for both children and adults every week, over the summer period,” she explained.
“We had nearly 300 people attend for the wrestling event recently - virtually all local, and there will be more wrestling to come, so we’re doing very well,” added Clr. Mrs. Brown,
