Wales Air Ambulance funds are about to get a further massive boost thanks to Chevron. Last year, over £20,000 was raised thanks to Phil Thompson, of Chevron, selecting the charity to benefit from staff collections and several events across Pembrokeshire The most successful event was the spectacular Rock 'n' Roll extravaganza, 'That'll be The Day', staged at Folly Farm, Begelly, which sold out well before the night. The audience was treated to a highly professional musical and comedy show which delighted young and old and raised the roof at the Follies Theatre. Comments at the end of the night were that the show had been a real tonic, polished and hugely enjoyable. Luckily, the show is coming back to Folly this summer and all proceeds from the performance on Saturday, July 12, are for the life-saving charity Wales Air Ambulance. Tickets are only £12.50 and can be purchased from Follies Box Office on (01834) 812731 or from volunteer Jan Allison Jones on (01834) 831561. The doors open at 6.30 pm and the show starts promptly at 7.30 pm. For those who were lucky enough to catch it last summer, this is a chance to soak up some of the magic again and for those who have not yet seen it, go along and treat yourselves - you will not be disappointed! Hilary Harvey, fund-raiser for WAA, said: "Thanks to Phil and Chevron, plus the generosity of Folly Farm, we can look forward to another fantastic night with the cast of this entertaining show. "It's not just Rock 'n' Roll, the humour had us rolling in the aisles last year. Why not enter into the spirit of the night and come in some '60s, '70s or '80s gear? We look forward to seeing you there and raising more funds towards our new generation of helicopters now urgently needed."
