Meet best friends Dolly and Skye! They are the pets of Jane and Thomas Summons, of Yerbeston.

Molly lamb Dolly has been adopted by Skye, their German Shepherd dog. They are very close and go everywhere together.

"Dolly is besotted with Skye and I think that this is because Skye is big and hairy like a sheep," said Jane.

"Skye loves her and doesn't mind her at all, so Dolly follows her everywhere. When I walk all our other dogs, she comes for a walk. She also comes when I check the horses or cattle. I'm sure she thinks she is a dog!

"Even when I go off on my bike, Dolly runs along with the other dogs, but I put her on the bike with me as well if we are going a long distance in case she gets tired!

"When I call her, she runs to the back door for her milk. I love her, as does Skye."
