The Sunday morning meeting was led by Captain David Williamson, divisional youth officer from Cardiff. He encouraged the congregation to make sure that they were building their lives on the foundation of Jesus so that they would grow strong in their faith. In the evening, Major Martyn Clements was the leader and spoke about being ready to listen to God and to be willing to do his will. Activities during the coming week are Catherine's Coffee House on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am and the Over Sixties group which meets on Friday at 2 pm. This weekend is the visit of a Salvation Army youth group from Hillingdon, London, tomrrow (Saturday) and Sunday. A festival of gospel music, song and dance by the young people will take place in Church House, St. Mary's Church, tomorrow (Saturday), at 7 pm, and everyone is welcome. The group will also be leading the meetings on the Sunday in the Salvation Army Hall and weather permitting holding an open-air service in Tudor Square at lunchtime. Sunday meetings are at 10.30 am and 6 pm and all are welcome to the meetings and all week-day activities which take place in the Salvation Army Hall in Upper Park Road.
