May I, through your columns, express my sincere thanks to everyone who played a part in making Ironman Wales in Pembrokeshire the place to be last weekend?

May I also thank and congratulate all the spectators who lined the route and encouraged all the competitors to do their best throughout the day.

It was a great success.
