The Phoenix Well Being Society held its monthly meeting at the Cricket Club, Dale Road, Haverfordwest. After lunch, Sidney and Marjorie Vincent gave a talk and demonstration on Dowsing. Members were invited to take part. It was an interesting afternoon. The society has recently been registered as a charity with the Charity Commissioners. They have also been awarded £5,000 by The All Wales Award. This will help to subsidise lunches, outings throughout the spring, summer and autumn to Cardiff Bay, Gower Coast, Elan Valley and a tour of Pembrokeshire, and holidays in autumn 2006/spring 2007. All meetings are held at the Cricket Club on the third Thursday of each month, the next being 12.30 pm for lunch, on Thursday, March 15. At 2.30 pm, Mr. Graham Goodeve will give a talk on the University of the Third Age. All enquires regarding the meetings, outings and holidays should be directed to Margaret Povey on (01437) 563420.
