For some eight years, Pembroke Dock has been part of the Rectorial Benefice of Carew, a cluster of urban and rural communities between the banks of the Cleddau and Pembroke.

Yet, today (November 1), the Benefice will be decommissioned and, in recognition of this, Rev. Nicky Skipworth who, up until this moment in time, has been its Team Leader, will host a short prayer service in the Lady Chapel of St. John's Church, Bush Street, Pembroke Dock, at 2.30 pm.

The three Anglican congregations of the newly-resurrected Parish of Pembroke Dock (with places of worship at St. Patrick's, Pennar, St. Teilo's, London Road, and St. John's) will be seeking to work more closely together, with a highly-motivated team of clergy which is set to triple in size next year.
