A group of youngsters have been polishing their reading skills at a library workshop.
Twelve boys from Pembroke School have been attending a six-week course at Pembroke Dock library.
The youngsters have been developing prose and poetry skills by expressing their views about their home town in words, music and images.
The workshop is part of a Read a Million Words Together in Wales campaign launched by the Basic Skills Agency to encourage youngsters, in particular boys, to embrace the joy of reading.
It's one of a number of initiatives, including drama workshops and story-telling sessions, which have been taking place across Pembrokeshire as part of the campaign.
Launched last autumn, the campaign follows an earlier Read a Million Words initiative aimed at younger primary school pupils.
