Everyone who is lucky enough to have a piece of garden knows how important it is to get the flower beds ready and planted up early to make a good show of colourful blooms through the summer.
SPAN Arts' Big Plant Sale on Saturday, May 3, is the place to see a huge selection of the most interesting plants and get some advice to get the best out of your garden.
Now in its 11th year, The Big Plant Sale brings all the best Pembrokeshire growers together so that you can select the plants that will do best where you live. Many local charities will be selling small plants at very reasonable prices.
During the day there will be fast and nutritious food and drinks available in the outdoor cafe, and entertaining from Circus Malarky, JazzRus, and a ceilidh group with Irish dancers.
The gates of Narberth School playground will open at 10 am and the sale continues until 4 pm. Entrance is £1 and all profits will go towards arts workshops for local children.
