A huge thank you is due to the Manorbier Stores and Post Office for the first class service maintained by them during the recent inclement weather.
Manorbier is exceptionally lucky to have beautiful beaches, a pub, a hotel, a garage, a kindergarten, churches, playing fields, a bus service, a railway station, two garden centres and a school all in easy reach of the village.
However, the jewel in the crown is Manorbier Stores. Reliable old-fashioned service, with nothing too much trouble; exceptionally well stocked, with top quality produce; open for long hours everyday; and with staff providing a first class, cheerful service whether the proprietors are present or not.
Visitors often say coming to Pembrokeshire is like travelling back in time, but we as residents are the fortunate ones. Long may it continue!
A special mention should also be made of Nigel, the most committed postman in the West, who ensured our mail service was unaffected by the big chill.
