On behalf of all the local and visiting dogs, could we please use your column, to give our heartfelt thanks to John and his wife at Black Rock Cottage, for their very kind and thoughtful act in putting out a bowl of lovely fresh and cold water for us during the very warm days that we have enjoyed this summer. It has been very much appreciated.
Could we also on behalf of our owners, please ask the powers that be if a bin could be placed somewhere along the road passed the golf club.
They are responsible owners and always 'bag it' and 'bin it', but where is the bin? This might also encourage other road users to do the same.
It is extremely embarrassing for us to see our leavings hanging in little bags from the bushes like presents on a Christmas tree, once again our grateful thanks to John.
