The chairman and committee of the Evergreen Nomads would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part in the Nomads charity bike ride on Sunday, September 5. There was a good turnout and the event was well supported. Special thanks go to Jeannette Pendell for organising the children on the Kiln Park run and looking after them. Also thanks to David Glanville and Sue Jenkins for the barbecue and John Cole and his helpers for the raffle. Further thanks also go to everybody else who lent a hand to make it a successful day all round, including Tom Pritchard, landlord of the Evergreen Inn, for donating the lemonade and sweets etc., for the children after the bike ride, and last but not least, to Jack and Tom, Kiln Park, for digging down into their bottle, thanks boys. Once again, grateful thanks to everybody who helped on that day and for all your support to help local charities.
