Sir,
I have had the good fortune to spend more than two weeks in your lovely town. The people are so polite, friendly and helpful, it has been a pleasure to stay. Thank you for putting up with me. Everybody has been most kind.
I would like to thank all the youngsters for leaving my cycle and kit alone while I have left them unattended for hours. You have a town and a community to be proud of and I shall always have a soft spot for Tenby, on my next three years travel around the British Isles.
My thanks to the management and staff of Dennis' Cafe, Castle Beach. Also my good friend Tom Torok and his family, plus his bigger church family, who took me in and made me so welcome. Thank you.
I intend running the London Marathon in 06 and setting a record for the over 70 years of age group.
I will then re-visit you one day, and renew the short friendships I have made. God bless you one and all.
Clive 'Iron Legs' Angwin,
'The OAP steamroller'
