Tonight (Friday), the annual family frolics will once again be taking place at Cresswell Quay, Cresselly, outside the fabulous Cresselly Arms Public House. Kicking-off at 6 pm, it promises to be a feast of fun for all the family, with something for everyone.
As well as a barbecue, there will be a salad bar serving fresh home made quiches and savoury pies with salads of all kinds and fresh French bread and butter. There is a cake stall too for those who might still be a little peckish after tucking into barbecue or salad, or for those who would simply like to take something home for tea over the weekend.
To entertain the younger set there will be games, including bat the rat, the bush tucker trial, and guess how many sweets in the jar, as well as face painting.
If you prefer a bit of a rummage then there will be stalls of books and bric-a-brac. Not forgetting the guess the weight of the cake competition, there is also promising to be a duck race with a difference with a first prize of £50, second £20 and third £10. With other stalls and entertainment, including a raffle, the evening promises to be great fun.
The event is raising funds for the SPH and Wales Air Ambulance, plus there will be a donation made to Greenhill School rugby team tour of Canada in 2013 so why not go along and enjoy a fantastic evening down at 'The Quay'.
