Tenby Dog Racers are holding the second round of this season's championship for open terriers and open lurchers also classes for greyhounds, whippets, novice and novelty.

The second round will be run tonight (Friday) as part of Narberth Civic Week at Bloomfield House, Narberth (entry off Redstone Road). Register 6.30 for 7 pm.

Next week, racing will be on Thursday night (August 1) at Trevayne Farm, New Hedges (off New Hedges roundabout) which has beautiful views looking out over Carmarthen Bay.

The open cups and £50 prizes for 2013 will be presented to the winners at the end of the season at Cresselly on Bank Holiday Monday.

Further heats will be held on Wednesday, August 7, at Pembroke Farmers Show, Lamphey; Sunday, August 11, at Manorbier; Wednesday, August 21, at Martletwy Show, Carew Showground; and August 26, Bank Holiday Monday, at Cresselly Big House's Cresselly Village Fete.
