A fresh lick of paint for some of Tenby's road surfaces has been called for by a local councillor, who believes that markings that have worn away could lead to motorists getting into difficulties.
"Several areas need to be addressed in the town," said Clr. Paul Rapi at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council.
"Inside the multi-storey car park is terrible, cars are coming in and out the wrong way and it's causing confusion, because the painted direction markings have worn away.
"Also, I was nearly forced onto the pavement the other day down by The Green, because a motorist got confused with the road layout," he explained.
Clr. David Morgan agreed with his colleague, and said that the bottom of Park Road was a problem area too.
"It's not so bad for the locals as we know the layout of the town's roads, but the holidaymakers don't necessarily do," he commented.
Clr. Mike Evans said that the town council should contact Pembrokeshire County Council's traffic engineer, Ben Blake, and parking services manager, Geoff Sutton, on the matter.
