To round off their silver anniversary celebrations, a cheque for a staggering £7,500, which has been raised locally over the past 12 months, has been presented to the cancer charity, Tenovus, by the Tenby and District branch. The presentation to Robert Taylor, regional fund-raising organiser for West and Mid Wales, was made at the group's successful fork luncheon at the De Valence Pavilion on Friday by vice-chairman, Maureen Webb. The group have been actively celebrating their 25th anniversary over the past year and pictured with Robert and Maureen are treasurer John Hunting, secretary Rosemary John and assistant secretary Pat Wright.
