The operation to crane the boats back into Tenby harbour waters, signifying the start of another busy holiday season at the seaside town took place on Wednesday, on a damp and drizzly day during the Easter holidays.

Ahead of the boats returning to the sea, on Sunday St. Julian’s Church (known as the 'Littel CHurch By The Harbour' held the now annual ‘Blessing of The Boats’ Service on Sunday.

The service of Hymns, Poetry, Bible Readings and Prayers for the whole Harbour Community was very well attended.

Towards the end of the service, the Revd Canon Andrew Grace led the congregation out into the Harbour to conduct the Blessing after the name of every boat had been read out by Susie Brooks Co-Warden of St. Julian’s Church. A collection also raised over £130 for Tenby RNLI.
