Although Tenby kept a clean sheet and scored quite a few points, this was one of the poorest games of the season so far.

Perhaps the celebrations at the Sixrth Form dinner the night before took the edge off the Tenby team, as it took them most of the first half to get to grips with the Quins.

Although having much of the possession in the first half, Tenby to score time after time by taking wrong options and by players failing to pass the ball when others may have had a better chance of scoring.

Near the end of the first half, Tenby scored their first points, with William Crockford going over from a scrum-five. The conversion failed.

From the restart, Tenby won a quick ruck ball and slipped it to Harry Bolton who ran 60 metres to cross the line unchallenged. Thomas Lewis converted to make the half-time score 12-0.

A few changes at half-time seemed to make a difference in the second half, and with both forwards and backs taking correct options, tries came in quick succession.

Try scorers were Jason Newell, Scott McLaughlin, Will Crockford, Andrew Dennis and Harry Bolton with another two.
