Pembrokeshire based artist Susan Sands welcomed a group of Tenby and District Arts Club members and their friends, on Saturday, to her latest exhibition at the Barbican Centre in London. Susan gave an introductory talk on the themes of her exhibition, entitled 'The Indian Connection', which is based on one of her many visits to the Indian sub-continent. Visitors had an opportunity to ask questions and to view not only the exciting and vibrant collections of paintings and prints on display, but also to study a number of the artist's sketchbooks. All agreed that they had thoroughly enjoyed their visit. During their weekend visit, the club members engaged in a number of cultural pursuits, including visits to the theatre, ballet, cinema, other exhibitions and a guided tour of parts of the cities of London and Westminster.
