Tomorrow (Saturday) the 1st team play Llantrisant at home, kicking-off at 2.30 pm.
This coming week will be a busy rugby week for Heywood Lane, as the 1st team and guest players take on Cardiff Academicals in what promises to be an exciting Bank Holiday Monday fixture. David Balkwill, Shaun James, Andrew Thomas, amongst others, will possibly be turning out for Tenby, and Mark Wyatt for the Academicals. Kick-off is at 2.30 pm.
On Wednesday, May 9, Tenby plays hosts to Narberth v Pembroke Dock as the final of the Pembrokeshire KO Cup comes to Heywood Lane. Kick-off is at 6.45 pm. Sponsors for the evening are Classic Kitchens, Whitland.
The Seconds should play Whitland in the league, not yet confirmed - and at a future date still to be fixed, they should play Pembs. XV v C Presidents XV.
After a fantastically entertaining game last Saturday, the Youth team won through to the final of the Griffiths Cup! Congratulations to the players, coaches and everyone involved. We all look forward to supporting you in the final on Friday, May 11, at Neyland. They will meet either Haverfordwest or Narberth.
After a good season, the Ladies are all out in force to watch the Monday Bank Holiday game, and a day of refreshment starting in the clubhouse after - past, present and future players are invited along to paint the town 'red with black hoops!' Come on Tenby!
This Sunday, in the Mini rugby section, the U8s play away at Pembroke Dock. The U10s have an exciting day in the U10s National Finals at Rodney Parade. Good luck!
ENTERTAINMENT
There will be dancing to Dynamic Dave's disco tomorrow (Saturday) night as part of this weekend's entertainment.
The draw of the club raffle will be held on May 5. Any outstanding books should be handed in to the club now.
The club's annual dinner, combined with the centenary dinner, is being held on Friday, June 1, 8 pm - 2 am, at the De Valence, with catering by 'Al Fresco'.
Tickets will soon be available from the hon, secretary, Mr. Geoff Carew, and are priced at £17.
