Last Saturday, the Tenby Swifts Under 8s, sponspored by Folly Farm, played at Stradey Park during half-time. The young Swifts won their game six tries to nil in a pulsating eight-minute spell.  Jamie, Dylan, Dominic and Ben all worked hard in defence, enabling Iori and William to exploit the gaps with their quickly taken restarts. Max scored two fine tries, while also chipping in with tries were Harri, Thomas, Henry and Billy. The Tigers also won their game three tries to one. The Tigers' scorers were Harrison, Angus and Gethin. There were also good performances from Jack, Max, Morgan, Alex, Declan, the two Harveys, Fletcher and Charlie Fry, who has just recently started playing rugby. Charlie is the forth generation of his family to play rugby for Tenby and already has played at Stradey Park - something his grandfather Mike never managed to do! Chris, Rob and the Doc would like to thank all the parents and children who turned up to support the boys for their big day out - 89 in total between the two buses! Special thanks to Bill and Gareth who donated money so that all the children could have a McDonalds on the way home and for sponsporing the trophies for the presentation evening which will be arranged in the next couple of weeks. Big thanks also to Mike Fry who came up on the bus and supported the Swifts. It is hoped everyone enjoyed a cracking day out.
