Tenby Townswomen's Guild celebrated their 60th anniversary yesterday (Thursday) with a lunch at Church House. Formed by Mrs. Frances Lewis in 1954, the Guild soon boasted a membership of 190. Classes were held in tailoring, dress and glove-making, keep fit, drama, social studies and country dancing. A large choir also gave public performances. Sixty years on and, although membership has decreased, the Guild is still an active group within the town. Members and honoured guests are pictured at the celebrations.
