Following the town's success in this year's Wales in Bloom competition, plans are in the pipeline for Tenby to host the annual event's award ceremony in the future. Tenby in Bloom chairman, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane ,and committee member Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter recently travelled to Caerphilly Castle to receive the award the town won for Best Small Country Town this year. "We had a great time in a lovely setting and once again it was an honour to pick up the award for the Tenby," Clr. Mrs. Rossiter told her colleagues at Tuesday evening's meeting of the town council. "Hopefully soon Clr. Mrs. Lane will have further details on the chance to host the awards in 2009," she added.
