Tenby teenager Josh Veale, 15, who is a young reporter for the nationwide education charity, FILMCLUB, put his skills to the test at two major events.
Last week Josh, a pupil at Greenhill School, interviewed top animal trainer, Trevor Smith, who has worked on films such as Mission Impossible, St. Trinian's, Batman and Goldeneye.
The youngster quizzed the expert about the tricks and challenges involved in training animals, from houseflies to hippos, to appear on screen.
The webcast - complete with crocodile and live scorpion - was organised by FILMCLUB and broadcast live from its London office to members across the UK.
It was held as part of charity's industry interaction programme which enables young people from all backgrounds to have access to a creative professional whilst still at school - something which experts regard as hugely valuable for raising aspirations and providing information about potential career opportunities.

Prior to that, Josh travelled to Bath to speak at a conference organised by TEDx, an international organisation dedicated to the sharing of good ideas.
He gave a passionate speech about the impact FILMCLUB's Talent Development Scheme has had on his personal development by giving him opportunities to explore the film industry first-hand, including the chance to interview actor Michael Sheen on set and question the First Minister for a film about democracy.
"I was mildly worried when I got asked to do this speech because I wasn't 100 per cent sure I could pull it off but now that I've done it I feel proud, something I don't usually feel about my achievements. I wouldn't have been able to do it without FILMCLUB," said Josh.
Supported by its main partner the Film Agency for Wales FILMCLUB launched in Wales in 2011 and now works with over 400 Welsh schools (7000 in the UK) - many of them in areas of high deprivation.
Free to all state schools the scheme helps schools set up and run clubs for teachers and pupils to watch, discuss and review a diverse range of films, promoting learning in an informal setting while encouraging critical engagement from young people. Actor and FILMCLUB's Welsh ambassador, Michael Sheen, writer and FILMCLUB champion Owen Sheers, and director and FILMCLUB champion, Marc Evans are some of the famous names actively supporting the initiative.
The Film Agency for Wales prioritises film education as a means to improve literacy, engagement, pathways to further learning and crucial skills for the digital economy.
FILMCLUB is funded in Wales by the Welsh Government and is supported by the BFI and LOVEFiLM. FILMCLUB is partnering with the Film Agency for Wales, Literature Wales, Arts Council of Wales, It's My Shout, S4C and the Film Education Network to develop a rich programme tailored to Welsh schools. http://www.filmclub.org/blog/cymru">http://www.filmclub.org/blog/cymru
