Tenby Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue targeting parents who are putting their children's lives at risk by flaunting parking restrictions. At their latest forum meeting, a representative from Silcox buses stated that the town's Heywood Lane was dangerous between 8.30 and 9 am every school morning. They said their buses were having difficulty traversing the road due to parents abandoning their cars on junctions and on roads where double yellow lines were painted. One of the parents said it was 'dangerous and an accident waiting to happen'. The team informed the meeting they had issued parking tickets to residents of Heywood Court who were using out-of-date residents parking permits in Heywood Court. PCSO Idwal David said: "We will continue to liaise with the school over the issue, but we are warning parents we will be targeting the area so to ensure they park legally or even better consider walking." The next forum meeting takes place on April 2 at Augustus Place Community Centre from 7 pm.
