Over the next couple of months, Sainsbury’s stores will make a shortlist of charities for customers to vote for. The winning charity will then receive a year of support from the store, which includes fundraising and awareness. Customers can vote between June 13 and 26 in stores and online.
The Sainsbury’s ‘Local Charity of the Year’ scheme has raised over £9million over the last seven years and has helped thousands of charities across the UK.
If you would like to apply, please register your interest at the customer service desk, kiosk or speak to Lorraine Jones, PR ambassador, at your local branch, Sainsbury’s Tenby, Upper Park Road, to be considered.
The nominations close on May 9. Please note all charities must be registered to the UK Charity Commission.
