Friday, November 9, sees the start of the Tenby Smart Town visualisation events.

As reported in last week's Observer, these events are being used to draw out ideas on how Tenby can embrace digital technology. This could be to draw in more visitors, to bring the town's history to life, to make local businesses more competitive or provide new services. All ideas welcome.

The project team will be based in the vacant café at the De Valence Pavilion today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) 10 am - 5 pm.

At 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm today and 11 am and 1 pm on Saturday, they will also be demonstrating how apps have been used innovatively elsewhere to encourage more visitors, aid collaboration between businesses and provide new services to locals.

The team are stressing that all you need to take part is imagination. The team will show how digital technology could make the ideas a reality.
