Tenby is set to see in 2018 with a bang and a large firework display in the centre of the town.

Members of Tenby Town Council agreed at their meeting on Tuesday night to support the New Year’s Eve fireworks extravaganza put on by Tenby House Hotel, that sees large crowds of festive revellers gather in Tudor Square to welcome in the new year.

“I propose we donate what we normally pay towards covering additional insurance costs for the venue’s firework display,” said Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter.

“They do such a fantastic job at Tenby House Hotel, and New Year’s Eve in Tenby would not be the same without them!” she added.
