Tenby seniors aged 65+ are invited to a free Christmas dinner on December 10 at the De Valence Pavilion, hosted by Tenby Round Table.
In the true spirit of Christmas, Round Tablers are delighted to once again co-host a free Christmas dinner for senior citizens living in Tenby, served once again at the De Valence venue on Upper Frog Street.
“Last year over 170 senior citizens from the town enjoyed the event and we are delighted to be able to bring it back for another year,” said a spokesperson for Tenby Round Table.
“This year’s festive menu features a traditional roast turkey dinner with seasonal vegetables, homemade gravy, and all the trimmings.
“A vegetarian vegetable wellington option is also available, with every meal finished off with a delicious homemade trifle.
“Residents aged 65 and over and living within Tenby are invited to join us on Wednesday, December 10, between 6pm and 9.30pm,” they added.
This community event is made possible thanks to the generous support of The Qube Group, Tenby Town Council, and Tenby Round Table, with additional thanks to Andrew Rees Butchers, Molson Coors, The Cove Gastropub, Ronni’z Lounge, Tudor Mount Gastrobar, Sainsbury’s and Charlton Cards for their valued contributions.
To reserve your Christmas dinner, please call Tudor Mount on 01834 845719 by midday on Friday, December 5.
December also sees the hugely popular Senior Citizen’s Christmas Lunch held in the neighbouring seaside town of Saundersfoot.
The Regency Hall is once again kindly organising the Pensioners Christmas Dinner, hosted with the support of Saundersfoot Community Council and Tenby & District Lions on Sunday, December 14 at 1.30pm.
A spokesperson for Saundersfoot Community Council said: “Come along and enjoy a warm, friendly afternoon with good food, great company and plenty of Christmas cheer — all fully funded as a seasonal treat for our community.”
