The chairman, Mr. Len Davis, opened the meeting.
A minute's silence was observed in memory of Mrs. R. Brace who passed away last week. Also, birthday greetings were expressed to Mrs. R. Burney and Mrs. J. Lewis who celebrate their birthdays this week.
The afternoon talk was given by Clr. T. Hallett, who accompanied his talk by showing slides of sunsets, trees and moths etc, describing each as he did so.
This proved very interesting and was much enjoyed by the members present.
Tea and biscuits were served by the ladies committee and the afternoon rounded off with bingo.
