An exhibition of the plans for a new school in Tenby is to be extended.

The plans for the town's new English-medium primary school went on show for the first time earlier this week.

The plans were due to be displayed at Tenby Leisure Centre from Tuesday until Sunday.

Now following feedback from members of the public, the exhibition will be extended for a further week - also at the leisure centre - until Sunday, November 3.

Pembrokeshire County Council proposes to build a new primary school on the Heywood Lane site - along with a new Welsh-medium primary.

The two schools are due to open on September 1, 2016.

Following the exhibition at the leisure centre, the plans will be displayed at Tenby Infants School for two weeks followed by two-week spells at Tenby Junior and Greenhill schools.
