Thanks go to the members of Longstone Chapel and friends for the recent donation made to Macmillan Cancer Support from their Harvest Festival service.
Most people have been touched by cancer in some way and hence will understand the committed and dedicated work that this charity undertakes.
The Tenby, Saundersfoot and District Macmillan Cancer Support Committee is extremely grateful for the empathy and goodwill of local people who continue to contribute so generously to this very worth cause.
Their next charity event is coming along to cheer you all up in dark November!
On Saturday, November 15, the Queen's Hall, Narberth, will be the place to be for a 1950s and 60s 'Back to School Prom'.
The Frantic Five and Deep Joy will be entertaining with their unique musical 'blast from the past'. Get your friends together and go along for a good old sing song and knees up (for those who can still manage it!)
There will be a traditional 'school dinner' (courtesy of Andrew Rees and Café Q, both of Narberth). Dressing up is optional! Come and have a great night out with a heap of nostalgia thrown in.
Tickets available from the Queen's Hall between 9.30 am and 2 pm or 'phone (01834) 810360.
