A Harvest of People: For our Harvest service this year, we at Tenby Salvation Army were treated to a special musical programme by a singing group called Salvation Song (writes Marie Moreton). They came to us from Morriston Salvation Army and, through songs, testimonies and Bible readings, they ministered to us in a very moving and powerful way.

We enjoyed their ministry both in the morning and afternoon service and we also enjoyed having fellowship with them during our harvest lunch that we all had together.

The main theme that seemed to come through during their ministry was a harvest of people. Their songs, testimonies, talks and bible readings caused us to think about people. We thought about how different people are, about different personalities and needs and we were challenged with a thought regarding evangelism when it was pointed out that 'one size does not fit all' anymore. We were also challenged to prayerfully consider how we are going to reach people for God, and how will we reap a harvest of people. Their ministry also caused us to think about the harvest of people who had come into our lives to help and support us, people who had made a positive difference in our lives and the fruit that had grown in our lives because of their input. We thanked God for these people.

Towards the end of their ministry, our thoughts were drawn to God as they sang songs like 'This is Our Fathers World' and we thought about everything that God had provided for us and thanked Him. This harvest 'Salvation Song' gave us a very gentle, but powerful and thoughtprovoking ministry that I believe will continue to stir out hearts and minds for a long time.
