Jam Evening

The acoustic jam evening was most enjoyable, with participants playing a variety of styles from Johnny Cash to Ray Charles. All agreed the session was a most relaxing experience. The next electric jam is this Monday, February 21 - don't miss it.

Darts

The road to success is often long and arduous. In our case, the road is infinitely long. The only success of last week's trip to Manorbier was by captain Terry Evans. We couldn't blame our usual nemesis - doubles. We were so outscored that in most of the games we didn't reach the double stage. Looking on the positive side, at least we provide entertainment wherever we go.

This (Friday) evening we are at home to the Swanlake Inn, yet another mean darting outfit. They must be relishing the opportunity of a big win. We shall attempt to deny them that pleasure. Watch this space.

Greenhill School Quiz

Greenhill are holding a fundraising quiz at the club on Friday, March 11. All are welcome. This was mistakenly advertised last week.

Non Posh Nosh Evening

There will be food available tomorrow (Saturday) evening of the non posh nosh variety prepared by the commodore. Fancy a snack - come on down.

Valentine's Day Supper

The Valentine's Day supper was a most enjoyable affair, with commodore, Terry Evans, taking the roll of chef, ably assisted by Jane Stewart-Walvin and Helen Williams. Members were treated to a delicious three-course meal, which was accompanied by an occasional glass of 'lemonade'. Many thanks to the intrepid threesome for making the effort.

Six Nations

The club will be open for the Six Nations rugby tournament. Come on down and watch the matches in warm and convivial surroundings

First Aid

Members who agreed to attend a first aid course are reminded that it will be held at the club this Sunday, commencing at 9.30 am.
