Junior Sailing

Jam Evening
What a great evening of live music. A large appreciative audience was treated to some superb renditions of various styles of music. Many thanks to Nic Thomas and Terry Evans for coordinating the event which attracted musicians from afar and wide including Cardiff. The next electric jam is on Monday, February 21 - don't miss it. For those who want a strum and a sing-along there will be an acoustic jam on Monday, February 14.
Darts
Yes we lost quite heavily to a mean darting outfit which was not unexpected. Actually, the final scoreline did not reflect our performance which, given recent form, was very good. We actually hit the dart board on occasions, with Rolly Squibbs hitting the elusive 180. The only successes of the evening came from captain Terry Evans who hit the winning double in the 1001 game and from vice-captain, Colin Parmenter, who won all his games including a superb performance in a fast and furious master's match. As you might have gathered, our nemesis is the inability to get that final double. As there is no league game scheduled for this evening, there will be a compulsory practice session. We shall start by actually establishing the position of the dartboard relative to the darter. Once we have got the idea of getting three darts onto the scoring area we shall concentrate on doubles.
Howard
Howard will be on the culinary scene this weekend. Howard's steak pie is something savour - come on down and support his efforts.
Valentine's Day Supper
This romantic evening will take place on Saturday, February 12. Numbers will be limited so book now to avoid disappointment. Why not enjoy one of the commodores specialities - for example, tender Lamb Shank with all the trimmings. Contact Terry Evans on 844256 for further details.

The club will be open for the Six Nations rugby tournament.
