Sunday sailing

Three boats took to the water on Boxing Day for the final race of the frostbite series. Race officer, Colin Parmenter, set a course in keeping with the conditions. After much tussling at the start, the eventual winner was Dan Jackson in a RS600, followed by Mike Stace and Deanna Morton in an Osprey and Tommy D'Ortez in a 29er. I believe the winner of the frostbite series is Ed Dashfield, crewed by Emily Kirby. Well done Ed and Emma.

Congratulations

Members of the club were delighted to learn of Edward Dashfield and Emily Kirby's engagement. Congratulations to Ed and Emily - we wish them well.

The format for New Year's Eve is the same as last year. There will be a carvery laid on for limited numbers only. Club Openings

The opening hours has reverted to Friday and Saturday evenings, with the occasional function thrown in. Any time variation will be published in advance. On a procedural note, would members please have their membership cards to hand as temporary bar staff may not know the identity of all our members?
