Sunday sailing

Due to the foibles of modern electronics I do not have the report of last Sundays' racing to hand. More next week.

Darts

The dream on winning three matches came to an abrupt end on Friday. We were firmly put in our place by a very efficient, friendly darting outfit. Captain Terry Evans and vice-captain, Colin Parmenter, led by example, but the rest of the team capitulated. Let us hope for more success this evening when we visit the Cross Inn, Penally.

Steak Evening

The next steak and faggots evening will take place on Friday, November 14. Chef, Terry Evans, would appreciate if participating members and friends would book early so that he can acquire sufficient stock. He can be contacted on 844256. As a bonus, the Wales v Canada game will be shown on our big screen!

Halloween Fancy Dress Party

This was a huge success, with members making a superb effort on their fancy dresses. Many thanks to Paul Evenden and Anthea Paterson for co-ordinating the event. More on this most enjoyable evening next week, including some great photos.
