Sunday sailing
Alas conditions were such that sailing did not take place. Let us hope for lighters winds this Sunday.
Darts
Last week's results was hard to believe, but wait for it. Yes, we won. We beat a very spirited side by putting our nemesis to bed. We managed to get a few doubles! Captain Terry Evans led by example by throwing some inspiring darts. The match was won by his partnership with Rolly Squibbs who threw the winning dart. I understand the celebrations are still going on. Will it be three wins on the trot? There's no match this evening so readers will have to wait until next week for the next installment of the darts saga.
Jam Evening
Last week's jam evening was a feast of superb music. Many thanks to Will Scott and Terry Evans for coordinating the event. The next session will take place on Wednesday, November 19. Not to be missed!
Steak Evening
This evening the club will be putting on steaks or faggots for the ravenous members and friends. Chef Terry Evans would appreciate if members would call him on 844256 to place an order. He looks forward to feeding you.
