Helpers Meeting
The helpers meeting held on Monday was well attended. Commodore, Mark Dashfield, outlined the four events which required a lot of helpers as well as the help needed in normal club sailing. To recap, the four events in question are: Open/ Osprey Meeting - Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4; Tenby Regatta/Round Caldey Race - Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22; Welsh Schools Championships - Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29; Enterprise Nationals - Saturday, August 9 - Friday, August 15. These events can only be run with members' help both on the water and on the shore. If any members and friends can lend a hand in any way, please Mark Dashfield on 844918.

Darts
Practice is of the utmost importance if we are to climb off the bottom of the league. Our next match is on April 4 when we are away to the Castle Inn, Manorbier. We will have to be on our best form to beat this accomplished side.
Steak Evening
A great evening was enjoyed by an extremely large turnout. Many thanks to Terry Evans, Ruth Tebbutt and Julia Dashfield for feeding the ravenous masses. With the food, raffles and an auction, the coffers of the Surf Rowers Association was helped considerable.
Bar Person
With the new season looming nearer and nearer, it won't be long before the bar will reverting to spring/summer opening times. As in previous years, the club will be looking for a bar person. Interested parties should contact Terry Evans on 844256 or Blake Shaw on 842535.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are now overdue. Contact membership secretary, Julia Dashfield, on 844918, for further details.
Important Dates
Monday, March 24 - helpers meeting Sunday, April 6 - first dinghy race (Dr. White Cup). Wednesday, April 16 - junior training registration. Wednesday, April 16 - jam evening. This is a very friendly and welcoming club, which endeavours to involve all members in a variety of activities. If anyone would like to join us, now is an ideal time, especially with the discount still on offer. Contact any member who will be delighted to furnish you with further details.
