Come and try weekend

This was a very successful venture which brought together adults from all walks of life wishing to experience the thrills of sailing. Friday evening was a land-based session led by Mark Dashfield. The trainees were shown the rudiments of sailing and some local dinghies fully rigged. Saturday's conditions were perfect for a session on the water. Several craft were used including the divine GP14! The trainees were treated to some exciting sailing in a wind perfect for training purposes. Unfortunately, Sunday's conditions were such that sailing was out of the question. As a back up, the next session will be on this Sunday at 5.30 pm. Participants please note.

Junior Sailing

Last Wednesday saw the usual plethora of junior sailors being put through their paces. Both Blake Shaw and Mark Dashfield are impressed by the progress of these enthusiastic juniors. A points race took place which, I believe, was won by Mike Stace and Deanna Morton in an Osprey. The evening was rounded off with the legendary Terry Evans BBQ.

Blues Jam Evening

The next session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 20. Always a great evening. Not to be missed! Will Scott and his band, Loose Change, will be performing at the club on Saturday, June 30. Definitely an evening to be at the club.

June 30 - Pembrokeshire Yachting Federation county regatta at Tenby. July 1 - Round Caldey race for dinghies and cruisers. This is a very friendly and welcoming club, which endeavours to involve all members in a variety of activities.
