Sunday saw yet another large turnout enjoying the conditions. Racing was very close, with the final 1 -2-3 as follows: 1. Ted Lewis in a Phantom; 2. Daniel Jackson in a RS600; 3. Tommy D'Ortez in a Laser.
Junior Sailing
The conditions for the first junior sail training evening were ideal. An encouraging turnout enjoyed their first sail of the new season. Many thanks to the instructors and the parents who lent a hand in the rigging and de-rigging. The fleet was treated to a surprise BBQ by Terry Evans who will be feeding the masses each Wednesday throughout the season.
Open Dinghy Meeting
This weekend sees the annual open meeting when sailors from far and wide descend on Tenby to partake in this popular event. Several classes of dinghy will be represented, ranging from the traditional boats such as Redwings to the modern asymmetric craft such as the popular RS600. Adult Sail Training
Every year the club runs a 'come and try' session for adults who may be interested in learning to sail. This year the event takes place on the weekend of May 19/20/21. Tuition, as in the case of junior sail training, is given by well qualified and experienced sailors. The Great Grill Evening
Last Saturday's culinary jaunt was enjoyed by the ravenous hordes. A variety of grills were superbly prepared by Terry Evans and Karin Morris - many thanks to Terry and Karin for their efforts.
